LT1 guru/specialist needed.
Okay i know this is asking alot of you guys but i looked around on the internet and couldn't come up with any answers.
i have a 383 LT1 shortblock with pistons,rods,crank,bearings installed.
but i need to know what ALL would be needed to turn this into a running motor.
so if someone can give me a list or knows where i can find this info i would greatly appreciate it alot.
thanks

Its guna be a 383 stroker with lloyd elliot heads/cam and ported intake.
and then later a 150 plate kit.

here is my list so far
383 block
LE2 heads/cam with ported intake
trickflow pushrods
comp cam pro mag roller rockers
comp cam rocker studs
guidplates
ls7 lifters
GM extreme duty roller timing set
canton 6quart oil pan

all fel pro gaskets
ARP head bolt kit

walbro 255 fuel pump kit
ford SVO 30# injectors
water pump
valve covers.
so what am i missing?
someone told me i will need new cam and crank sensors.

There is no such thing as a cam sensor (or a crank sensor on a 93-95 car, you don't mention what year vehicle you have). The crank sensor is also obsolete on a build of that caliber.
I would ditch the GM LT4 ED timing set and run an electric water pump with a Cloyes double roller #3145.
What makes you think you need a HV oil pump. Chances are very good that you don't. Also, stay away from the '155' series of pumps and go with the Melling Select 10554 (standard volume, high pressure).
Depending on your heads/cam combo, 30# injectors may not be enough. Whatever your estimated flywheel HP is, multiply it by .07, and that's the injector size you should consider. Yours also have the variable of nitrous, so keep that in mind.

okay thats what i thought about the sensors. its a 95 z28 by the way
so i will go with the melling 10554 oil pump instead. I am hoping for around 420 at the rear wheels but i have no clue about crank HP.
it guna be threw a performabuilt level 2 with 3800 converter tho.
anything els i dont have on my list or need to change?

Your going to have to pull the banjo bolts and steam lines off the old motor.
You will need to plug the front steam holes in both heads and a water temp sensor on the passenger side head.
Your going to need the oil pressure sensors fittings off the old motor.
The dog bones and lifter spider will have to go into the new motor.
The oil cooler adapter off the motor if you have/want to run one.
Your oil dipstick and the bolt that keeps it on the block.
These were just some off the things that come to mind. Since I just changed out mine this month.

few things i didn't see up there.......just for insurance purposes id grab a new oil pump cam drive unit and id use one of the arp heavy duty oil pump driveshafts with the metal coller instead of that stock gaf plastic one......also make sure the check ball is pounded into the block in the oil galley in the rear of the motor....with out this you'll ahve about 4lbs of pressure that could ruin your weekend lol.......also id ditch that gm timing set for the cloyes and just put an electric pump on it......
seems like your on the right track though....good luck with it!!!
