Default ARP torque specs?

Hey everyone I have a forged 383 im building and I need to know what the torque specs are for the ARP main studs (part# 134-5502 I think) and the torque specs for ARP rod bolds in eagle H beam rods. Any info helps thanks everyone.

Not that easy. Different bolts can call for different torque settings. The "I think" part of your post gave me pause.

Don't chance it; call them or see if they're listed on their website.

Not sure on the rod bolts, but I just bought the same main studs from ARP and they call for 80 ft lbs torque done in 3 equal steps. The instructions should have been in the box. Make sure to use their thread fastener lube.

Also if you are using the windage tray, the torque setting for the windage tray nuts is 30 ft lbs.

i know the pro series studs take 105lbs i think yours are 80 but call ARP and they'll be able to tell you......also as for the rods....the proper way to tighten a rod bolt is with a stretch gauge to the recommened stretch......but you will probably be in the 65-70 range with moly lube....
