Default Ring Gap

I need so addvice. Im building a 383 stoker for boost. I will be running about 15 psi of boost and a set of Sealer Power Hellfire rings in my SRP pistons. SRP told me to gap the top ring at .0055 per inch of bore and the sencond ring at .0057 per inch of bore. my bore is 4.030 so the top would be .0221 the second is .0229 and the oil rings are .015. Does this sound right to you boost guys? Thanks

Call Sealed Power. They designed the rings, they can tell you. That's what the machine shops do. SRP should tell you piston to wall clearance and Sealed Power can tell you ring gap....They may tell you the same, but at least you get it from the manufacturer...they'll probably want to know displacement, amount of boost, weight of car ect....

BTW always over build...if you're going to run 15 constantly, build for 25+....when we did my brother's turbo motor we knew he'd run 10 psi daily and had it built to handle 20+ just in case of a boost spike ect.
