Default valve question

i was wondering what the biggest valve you can fit in the stock valve seats on a 94 lt1 head

2.00 intake, 1.56 exhaust.

You can technicly fit a 2.02 valve on the seat, but it sets lower and the throat cannot be opened up enough and still have the seat thick.

No reason to go any bigger than 2.00" IMO.

I would also think this would be the optimum for stock. I run LS1 valves in my ported stockers.

Lighter than most aftermarket valves IIRC due to the valve stem size.

Yep if I was going through the trouble I would run LS6 valves. It's not cost effective for my application though.
