I have a lt1 i have change the plugs and wires and and put the 6 inch boots on in of wires for heat reason the last set was touching headers so my problem is at 5000 rpms to rev limiter its missing but i havent changed out the opti is the opti whole distiputer or just cap and bug or should i change it all and also i did a fuel psi check som1 said it could be my fuel pump but which it is not so if some1 could give me some feed back on my questiong would be really great thanks alot

I know the feeling and it sucks but it deffinatly sounds like the opti, make sure to buy an AC Delco or Delphi brand opti, i got mine off ebay for 300shipped. And high rpm miss is usually the fist sign of a bad opti.
