Not too bad, work on the 60' and some better DA and it'll be close to the 10's. Oh, and put that bish on a diet!! Is 3600 the raceweight or just the weight of the car? Either way it's heavy. Really good for a heavy street car. Congrats.

Yeah im still spinning. I think its just being on an old tire (6-7 years old)

That is the cars weight, Its full leather interior (with the rear seats) factory bose system and it still has A/C.

I like to keep it as a nice driver because I do the power tour and drive to the carcraft nationals every year.

Thanks!

Not bad man. Get a new tire under the car, and you'll be even happier

Track prep was pretty decent. My first pass I pulled both wheels about 5-6" I came back in and made some adjustments with the shocks, kept the front down and went a little faster on my 60. As soon as this thing dead hooks and cuts a low 1.5 60 I think Ill be happy.

I was there for 3 hours and 3 cars broke during that time taking over 2 hours to clean up the track.

Thanks for the complements guys, Its been a long time coming and as much as I wanted this car to go 11.0-11.1 on motor its just not possible without gutting it.

236/242 @ .050 .568/.568 lift on a 112 LSA.

I did skimp a little on the cam. I had hotcam SA roller rockers, and already had new comp 918 springs. Instead of going out and buying new roller rockers/guide plates/valve springs I asked lloyd to make a cam that would work with what I had.

If you're running a full slick you don't want it to "dead hook".

Nice runs the car is running strong for that weight. Keep at it it's going to go faster.

Don't settle for low 1.5's sixties get the converter reflashed. I have the Circle D 4C coverter and have cut 1.42 sixties and I won't be happy until the car is cutting some 1.3's and my car is around 3,500 raceweight depending on which scale it's on.

Im running a hoosier QTP DOT slick, Bias ply.

Badhawk what gave you the biggest gain on your 60? I've been working at it but it seems like Im stuck at 1.59,1.60,1.61 I hardly ever 60ft any worse then that.

Like I said though. I do think my old QTP tires are hurting me.

I shift around 6400, however our setups are quite different. Your #600 lighter, look to have a more race only setup. Hows your car run? any times?

Like I said I think it's important to have a hard hitting converter then have all the other suspension things that support it, QA1 shocks front and back and I think the UMI drag bar helped a bit also.

I just put on the QA1s. The converter is going back this winter to be reflashed for spray I think.

Does your conveter leave better off idle or loaded?
