i dont think he was asking what our opinions were on the headers. he was asking what Y-pipe he needed.
but i agree that Edelbrock probably supplies the Y-pipe and i doubt any other brand will just bolt right in.

I just returned a new set of Edelbrock single cat TES headers to Summit today. They came with a Y pipe that connects to the headers with 2.5 inch donut gaskets. The headers were made nice but I decided not to use them.
If you have been using them then you know about the supplied y-pipe. I couldn't find a ORY that had the correct ends to mate up with the Edelbrock collectors. The Edelbrock y-pipe has a 3 inch outlet that is enlarged to fit a pipe into it. You could weld in a staight pipe to replace your cat.

Ok Guys
Thanks for your input! BUT, I had asked about and OFFROAD y pipe! The Edelbrock shorties do come with a ypipe the retains the stock cats! I am looking to delete the cats with an OFFROAD Y. Dont wanna dig to deep and spend to much on headers and a new Y. These headers work good for my application and I just want to do the OFFROAD Y. Now, anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!
