Default Bogging while trying to do burnout

So, I finally bought a set of Prostars and some Hoosier QTP's in hopes of gaining a little bit of traction. But, for some reason I can't possibly do any kind of burnout with them on, with street tires in my driveway i can smoke them down all day long. Different story when it comes to the QTP's I do the normal foot brake burnout as usual and it just bogs down constantly like I have traction control left on. it will SLOWLY spin the tires but intermittently, all the while the car seems to never get any more than 800-900 rpm no matter what brake position or gas pedal.

What am I doing wrong?

car is an A4 95 z28 LT headers/catback, msd coil and wires, newish opti, all free mods, and a CAI

Are you giving it full throttle? And the car is pretty much stock. Nothing to boast about (power-wise).. You probably need some nitrous to spin em easier.

if you wanted more traction you got it.. i dont see the need to warm them up if you get traction.. if you can take off from a dead stop without spinning your good to go

I think your problem has been discovered. Why go with a 27" tire with a 3.23 gear?

If those are the tires you use on a daily basis you will need to grow quickly.

get a line lock...you will kill your rear brakes and put stress on the tranny with braking and burnouts.

I assume we are talking about water box burn outs here...
