2 Bar and 3 Bar map sensor ?

2 Bar and 3 Bar map sensor ? Can a 2 bar or 3 bar map sensor be used to replace the factory unit if your still N/A at the moment? I need to purchase another map sensor and would like to buy a unit that supports 2/3 bar, but still run the car N/A for the time being.
