Default New Lt1... why is it limited at 75mph?

Friend bought a 93 camaro and it won’t go over 75 mph. what could be the problem

Also the tach doesn’t work. How can we fix that?

The dash lights don’t work. But the needles light up

Because it's an LT1...lol j/k. Something has to be wrong because there weren't any cars with limiters less than 108mph if I remember directly.

is it redlining at 75? (does the engine sound like its going to explode?) might be your trans not shifting right.

Check your coils if they are weak, start testing everything in the ignition system and fuel pressure.

For the tach problem start by checking fuses. Its possible could be a bad cluster, if you can get a snapon scanner or Tech 2 and do a gauge sweep.

Not enough information. What exactly does it do at 75? Have you tried different gears?

With no tach, are you sure you're not hitting the rev limiter? Or maybe if the tach isnt getting signal the rev limiter is messed up as well.

Did the guy who sold it forget to tell you about the MSD 6AL rev limiter?
