im running a comp 503 in my bolt on cam car and i was wondering if any of you guys were running the same setup and what was the peak rpm you car made power to. any info appreciated.

Full bolt ons, a cc503, and 1.6:1 rockers, mine peaked torque@4700, and HP@5700, and dropped off steadily after 6300.

shift between 6200-6400rpms depending on your setup.

my car drops power like a rock rolling down a hill past 5900 i think it has a valve train issue.

Which does it drop? Torque or HP? a drop in torque is normal...drop in HP isn't at that RPM.

What springs/rockers are you running?

comp rr's and i and comp double springs...cant remeber the p/n. as far as which is droping the hp just goes on a down hill drop
