Default gauge holder i made

i wanted to get the basic gauges trans temp and a/f ratio but didnt really want a pillar if it wasnt boost or something to brag about lol so i made this to fill in the spot below the radio i think it cam out very well and yes my car is dirty as hell lol what you guys think ?

First, your car is filthy
Second, it doesn't look like it matches very well
Third, It doesn't look like it fits very well.
Fourth, they look kinda hard to see from the normal driving position.

Not trying to be shitty just being honest. There is potential with this idea though.

You should buy the 1LE delete plate or get a pillar pod. Form + Functioin = not getting internet forum members yelling at you.

And take a picture when its all fancy'd up, that should help your cause.

Maybe if you wrap the panel in vinyl it will blend better?

For future reference you can use Autometer's gauge mounting pods there.



Still leaves you room for CDs or whatever kind of objects you like to sling at passengers when you press the GO pedal.

Eh car is filthy cause it sits in garage haven't gotten around to cleaning it oh well it matches better than in the picture with the flash it stood out a lot and yeah its sitting a lil crooked just gotta cut more off and from drivers seat they aren't hard to read at all actually ... as for dude with pod things I don't know I just don't like the way that looks again to each their own

I would say they both look terrible, but the OPs has definite potential to look better. Plus he can get the angled bezels and aim them up too. then paint and as far as looks in person vs that picture I know exactly what he's talking about. Just needs a bit more finish and trim and it'll look good.

I had this one made up for where the cassettes go and its painted black krinkle and matches perfectly with the stock dash
