Default need some help

ive been messing around with my lt1 car for awhile doing tid bits here and there.
im ready to drop the engine in and do the wiring. heres my question.
the engine came from a 94 trans am, its going into a 95z28, is there any differences? both cars were mass air cars, is the inj, cam, opti different? or should it be a direct swap?

Well... you'll need to grab an opti pigtail for the distributor. But that's plug and play, since where it disconnects along the pass. side of the intake is the same, just different at the opti itself:

http://www.optisparkharness.com/opti...s/default.aspx

And since your 95 car came with a vacuum harness and the 94 engines don't have them, you can either:

1) get a MSD cap & rotor kit that makes the spline drive opti vented
2) mod the cap & isolator of the stock opti to make it vented (see mod in my sig for ideas on how to do it)
3) plug the intake elbow hole and cap the vacuum fitting on the intake (driver's side)

The rest of the sensors and electric components are the same.

Not so fast... going to 95 style opti means adding a dowel pin to the camshaft nose to drive the 95 style opti, in addition to changing out the timing cover. Keep the 94 timing cover, run a spline drive MSD opti if you want MSD. MSD adds venting to the spline drive models. MSD part # 8381- comes with built-in pigtail and vacuum harness.
