I had a LM1 and while it sounded good, it was a cop caller. I temporarily replaced it with a single in/out 3" Flowmaster that flows alot better than the dual ones, but the drone at hwy speeds will kill ya. I finally saved up and installed a Hooker catback. It's by far my favorite. It's LOUD when you get on it. Fairly loud at anything over 2500 rpm, but not bad at all if you keep it under that. It doesn't have the deafening/annoying drone either.

+1 for the Hooker catback.

If you want it to be loud and sound decent, go with true duals and ditch the whole y pipe setup. If clearance is an issue, stick with the y pipe and put cutouts after the headers. If youre gonna stay stock and dont want to sound too loud, get a used set of gmmg or borla.
It mostly depends on what you want, try a search to help you out more.

Ive had Flowmaster, TSP Rumbler, LM1 and GMMG. GMMG is the best catback IMO. That said I am ditching the GMMG for True Duals with LM1 resonators.

I have hooker and I love it, not too loud until you really get on it, and no drone. Has anyone done true duals with 2 LM2 mufflers?

Hooker sounds great but it isn't stainless teel, which kinda sucks.
Magnaflow is nice, soungs good, stainless, but too quiet for some.
Borla is an overglorified straight pipe IMO.
GMMG sounds ****** amazing, but is pricey.
Loudmouth is stainless, but way loud, raspy, and backfires a lot on most cars.

Im torn between magnaflow/electric cutout or GMMG myself right now

Hooker (or ANY full cat-back for that matter) and an electric cutout > all. Quiet when you want it, loud when you don't. Best of both worlds.
