Default Speed Inc. Alt. Relocation.

I have the Alt. relocation with PS and AC. I have my engine builder finishing up my project and he come across a problem. He said with the after market brackets that came with the kit, the spark plugs won't fit. Says they would need 90 degree angle boots in order for them to fit on the distributor. Has anyone had this problem and how'd they fix it....just seeing if anyone delt with this before i call 'em. thanks

I'm sorry, but your builder is incorrect. The boots are tight, but they surely fit without having to get a custom set of wires.

See in my kit i have a bracket on the drivers side thats not allowing the plugs to go on the distributor. In your pic AC you have no bracket on the drivers side.

My alternator goes on the left side. ACHOT just has the alternator relocation. I'm keeping my AC and PS. Its a super tight fit with the 10.2 wires, so i went and bought the OEM wires and hoping that fixes it.

Whoops missed the part about you keeping the AC. Is the guy sure he has all the spacers in the right places? My wires are 8.5s

make sure to ground the alternator, because the powdercoat prevents that from happening, causing the alternator not to work.
