Default Security Light

In my 94 TA, my security light is always on. Is this normal? The car starts and runs fine, unlocks and locks fine, and has no alarm that I know of. Just kind of curious whether or not the light always being on is normal. I think the car was completely rebuilt on the passenger's side by one of the previous owners, though I can't be sure. would that have anything to do with it? I know there's a different lock cylinder on the passenger's door than on the rest of the car. let me know if you guys need more information. Thanks!

Normal? Only if the VATS is not working.

Yeah, same thing in my Formula. I don't pay much attention. I am probably just going to remove the bulb from the cluster.

mine is on too, just a reminder to "drive it like you stole it"

if thats your only problem with the car, let it go. Keep it happy that its letting you know something is wrong. If these cars arnt communicating with the owner somehow through some light on the dashboard or doing something that indicates its not running 100% perfect....**** is gonna go down!

Aslong as its running right, let it think its getting the best of you lol. Trust me, fbodys are all physcological. Moment you say its a good car it will eat you alive.
