Default how would this work out?

hi I'm new to the forum i have a 94 Corvette auto tranny 309 gears

iv had the car a year now and have done a few things cold air,
msd opti and new water pump tranny flush and new filter new msd wires and new nkg plugs i bought it when it had 158000 on it since it was my first kinda fast car iv beat the snot out of it well itsnow got miles still runs fine so theres a little back story

now iv read a lot of articles on the lt1 motor the trans and so on since ic had the tranny looked at and its all good i was thinking this tax time having tho motor rebuild I'm wanting to add FI to it and i know the stock stuff ain't goof to last and the comp is to high so could o get by with a fresh rebuild to stock but add forged pistons and rods i know the crank ain't that great but don't have a lot of money and that it can handle 500HP good as that's what iv read I'm ok with that.

can i get by dished pistons bigger chambered heads to lower compession and increase flow and a good cam for my app and make the engine reliable or should i have it rebuilt and just keep it n/a with the new internals thanks in advance foe anyhelp and comits good or bad and great site read a lot here and a few other forums

What's your budget? Keep in mind a supercharged build will cost about 1.5x times as much as an N/A setup, and requires a LOT of maintenance and tuning. For a serious bottom end to support boost, plan on spending at least $2500 at the bare minimum with machinework, and that's reusing the stock crank.

For 2K id do a cam swap, full exhaust, 3600ish stall and 3.73 gears. You could do heads and cam, but you would have almost nothing left over for anything else. The procharger kit alone will be more than your budget, let along forging the bottom end and choosing the heads/valve train.

If you reuse the stock crank and rods and use a forged piston, you can probably rebuild the bottom end for around $2000.

Your dealer friend won't help much considering the major parts you'll be going after are aftermarket.
