Question bad mass airflow sensor?

i'm looking at replacing my MAF with a bigger one and in Jegs i found Granatelli and Jet both have them for around $300. Then there is one made by Venom for $120. I can't seem to find any info or reviews about it. Does anyone actually have one or know of someone who does? Is it a great deal or just a piece of ****?

i just recently bought it and it already had CAI, 3" exhaust, 3.73 gears, and i believe the ECM may have been tampered with cause the shift points seem a little high and the spedometer has been corrected to the gears

There is ZERO benefit to running a larger MAF. Not to mention aftermarket MAFs can be a tuner's NIGHTMARE. They are often more trouble than they are worth.

The stock MAF can support BIG power. And even if you're to the point where the MAF is a restriction, you might as well convert to speed density.

Yea my plan is to get some Pacesetter lt's within the next couple months. I'm trying to get all my bolt-on **** done within the next year then I'm deploying to Afghanistan and when I get back I'm planning on doing a full rebuild of the car. I also wasn't aware it would need a tune, I'm pretty new to these LT1 engines. I appreciate the warnings lol
