Default lt1 clutch removal

Hy guys, happy new year to you allready.

her goes. Do u have any tips or tricks to remove the 6 bolts holding the clutch, when i try to loosen them the whole engine turns. I tried holding the crack pulley with another wrench but still the engine turns, or maybe I did not hold it good, this is a one-man job,
how do u guys do it??

Have to ask, you sure your turning the bolt the correct way? you could also put the wrench on the pully like you did then put a long bar or something over the wrench so when the engine turns over the bar hits the floor and stops it from turning. That way you can use all your strength on the clutch itself.

If you have the stock flywheel there are several holes in it that you can stick a screwdriver through that will brace up against the block flange.

We put a breaker bar in the flywheels teeth to hold it from moving.

Impact. Loosens clutch bolts, flywheel bolts, harmonic balancer bolts, and the crank bolt all without fuss.
