Exclamation Need a actual tune or lt4 knock module?

I have a 94 z/28 camaro auto and i have rebuilt it with the addition of the lt4 hotcam, 1.6 rr, new valve springs good up to .600, long tube headers, msd ignition system, new hyd roll lifters, air foil, vortech elbow, k/n cai, deleted egr and feed tube with block off plates, with a tci pro super trans that i rebuilt as well, and 3.73 richmond gears, i also got new lunati push rods and guidplates but pretty sure those dont affect anything, and i also have a 100 wet shot off nitrous. ive been told all i need is a lt4 knock module and that I need a tune, so do i need both or just one or the other? thanks for commenting im kinda new to lt1s. no hating.

I would recommend both. Without trying to sound like I'm selling something, I do have a LT4 knock module available if you need one. The knock module is usually helpful when using roller rockers since they may make a little more noise which may cause a false knock condition.

Usually a tuner can desensitize a stock knock module

The knock module has almost tripled in price over the last 8 years. I think I paid $26 for it in 2002, now GMPD sells it for $67.

tune will handle the speedometer... everyone is going to laugh at you for the stall That's at least what I've been reading here lately... although I am not much better with my 2500... lol. Go with the tune and the module buy one used almost can never find one on ebay but someone else said he had one. If you can pick it up for $20 plus shipping your doing fine! If you can't find a good tuner in your area and when I say good I mean good with obd1 very important.... then send away to tune the pcm
