I want to run 11's!!!!????
i have a 94 LT1 camaro M6...i need to rebuild the motor..has 200K...i want to run 11's and later DTR 10's...should i rebuild to a 350, 355, or 383?? What engine build CI would allow me to get their too 11's and then get down to 10's later...lookin to go with SRP forged pistons and a forged crank and rods...dont know the heads or cam yet

I remember when I first got on this site and found out about the "50 post rule" for classified post...I have to admit I had a few "thats cool" and "lookin good" type post to get my count up....lol
Since it has 200k and is prob nearing its lifespan anyway pill up till it pukes...prob see at least one 11sec pass....

actually no....im really looking to build my car....i used to ask so many questions on yahoo but never got real answers...i ask so many question cause i dont wanna make mistakes..all im selling is camaro body kit, 3pc spoiler and chrome camaro rims..and my brand new cc503 cam... but im not too worried bout that stuff cause id like to sell local....so whats better 355 or 383??....PM me MattSapp95 bout ur short block and price

Your 100% correct im against everyone telling everyone to go "search" not everyone wants the same exact thing.
But for 10's with some N20 it would be no problem I wouldn't think right now I'm trapping at 107 which is good for a pass into the 12's and with a 125 shot I would be into the 11's so if you build a nice H/C/I 355 that runs mid 11's then 10's would be a breeze

hey also mabey u guys can help me... i think my clutch and fly wheel might be goin out....when from a stop trying to go its like nothing grabs...im almost off the clutch just to get it to grab if i dont its just revving kinda with alil fforward movement....and sometimes my car stutter/jerks when driving or floor it a bit like it cant get goin lol...or lets say im in 4th and i drop to 3rd when rolling it will jerk too...not sure what it is lol
with the build i really dont wanna run nitrous.... i wanna go NA for 11's and hopeful;y 10's but if 10's is too hard which i dont think..ill go super or turbocharge

As for 355 or 383...You will make more power with a 383 but you Don't need it to run 11's
My car has went 11's with my 355 and a TEA heads/Cam package
My best friends car runs consistent 11.5s with a budget 355 and AI heads and Cam...
So it really depends on what you want to spend...

haha never liked the thought of nitrous...i like all motor haha....so lets 355 and 383 motors with same everything except the bigger crank...whats the HP and torque difference...estimate
