Ok sorry for the repost but i need to change you my header gaskets and wanted to go ahead and junk the pacesetter bolts that came with my headers. What size and length bolts do i need? A link would be nice too.

ARP, stainless 12-point 5/16" head, 1" UHL, 3/8x16 thread pitch.

Don't know the p/n off hand, but it should be easy enough to find on Summit.

Sure.

Make sure you get the 5/16" headed 12-points! They are MUCH easier to get good solid torque on than a 6-point. You may need a thin-walled or modified box wrench to get them tight, but it is far better (IMO) than a 6-point. The 12-points also give you twice as many angles of attack than a 6-point.

Those ARP's are a little pricey but definitely worth the money. Just make sure you get them TIGHT. I'm missing a couple now, since they backed out on me and came all the way out. Would be nice if I could just get a couple individual replacements and not have to buy a whole set.

I went with the stage 8 locking bolts that were 1 inch long.

I found the allen wrench insert inside the hex head to be EXTREMELY useful.

The 12 point bolts were a PITA on my Dynomax headers, I had to go with a 5/16 6 point bolt and use the open end. Just a warning, depending on what headers you get you may not be able to use 12 point bolts.

You can use ANY 12-point bolt with a modified wrench, like I said in my 2nd post.

X 3 on Stage 8 locking bolts. I also used Percy's seal-4-good layered aluminum gaskets. Haven't had to tighten or retorque at all. Perfect seal, first time, no backing out.
I wanted to use the Percy's Split-Lok ones, but Speed Inc. was out of them at the time lol
