I know there are a couple of other guys not to far from me that are here on ls1tech as well so we shall see if we can get everyone together. For now I just ordered the cable so I can have mine retuned and hopfully we can get it right this time. I am stright out 54 at US 19 to your west.

Great job man. Taking things slowly has always been tough for me, I always wanna just do it all RIGHT NOW. Props for having patience haha.
Only thing I'd do differently is put a true LT1 SS spoiler on there instead of the LS1 spoiler. I don't know why I just like them more, and seeing as it's a true LT1 SS I think it'd be sweet.

They just had a Tampa Hooters meet off of Gandy Blvd this past week. We could all get in on that next month.

The LS1 SS Spoiler is doing it for me at the moment. I have thought about finding a LT1 SS Spoiler, but i will have to debate on that a little more. But i do agree for a tru LT1 SS car that a LT1 SS Spoiler would be more suitable for nostalgic purposes.

Great work so far i rescued my 94 Formula and restored/upgraded it. May seem like a lot of money and waste of time but its the joy of working on your car and making it better each step of the way. Mine was an auto that was on its last leg and converted it for a 6 spd. While going with the 6spd i put in a ls1 ds and upgraded from a 273 rear to a 4.10 and put in a umi upper and lower phb aswell adj lcas. Appearance wise i got a ram air hood, tinted the windows, and replaced to old faded and stained ligth grey cloth with an all graphite leather interior. Got rid of the formula bumpers and wing and put on a trans am bumpers and hatch. Followed that with some drilled/slotted rotors and some 17x9.5 tt2s. Every year i keep myself busy modding and restoring something. Building a motor right now!
Two thumbs up

One idea for a replacement spoiler is the Mecham spoiler. It looks more like a combo of the LT1 and LS1 variants. Postless like the LT1 but taller and more defined like an LS1. Great combo IMO.

If I didn't have a factory lt1 SS spoiler to start with, I'd try to find one of those. It does stick out a little too far maybe from the side, but it still looks better than anything else I've seen aftermarket.
