I hardly go WOT but I made a u turn and when I straightened the wheel out I put it to the floor and it downshifted or just jumped, but I let off right away because aside from the backfiring i saw the tach reach 7k. It seems the tuner may have removed the rev limiter. I just now looked back at my order sheet and I put "tuner decides" under rev limiter....oops, guess he decided to remove it altogether. It reached 7k pretty fast, I let off so quick it hardly moved. I remember this happened once before but I wasn't certain because my eyes were not on the tach, but this time they were. How bad is that for the motor? I can't imagine I f***ed anything up from just that.

If you don't hear any new noises then don't worry about it. Just get the rev limiter reprogrammed.

yea 7k on a blip like that shouldn't kill anything.........wouldnt make a habbit out of it though lol get that limiter put back
