JUST PULLED A LT1 BLOCK OUT OF A 1994 RAGG TOP z28.. STRIPPED IT ALL DOWN NOW I PLAN TO BUILD IT BACK UP FROM SCRATCH.. WHAT WOULD BE THE FIRST FEW ITEMS TO GET FOR IT?

I was thinking bottem end kit?

Goals are to keep tha original block size (no boring) looking to get about 380-400 to tha tires..

Not yelling just so use to typing in caps. Sry

Look into Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction for top-end (heads/cam/intake) packages. You will meet your goal with them.

Just get a junkyard shortblock then, go and put cheap aftermarket rotating assembly in there and it will be a step backwards.

1. Decide what your budget/goals are.
2. Take the engine to the machine shop to check it out, see if needs bored.
3. Start ordering parts.
