I am wanting to put a set of richmond 3.73 gears in my 94 camaro and when talking to summit one guy said I would have abs problems, talked to another guy after 1st guy gave me wrong part number and he didn't mention any abs issues, anybody have any insight on this?

I cant recall any ABS lights or issues in all the rear gears I have swapped (meaning before the tuning was done). But the car does verify speeds using the wheel speed sensors. If it picks up conflicting information it will typically deactivate the ABS system until the problem is resolved. But thinking about it, the sensors are either A. on the rear wheels, or B. on the posi which goes directly to the rear wheels. Plus your 2 sensors on the front two wheels. So that means as long as the rear wheels are rolling the same speed as the front wheels there will be no issue. That would explain why I have never seen this cause problems. Gearing changes the trans to rear end speed differences, it does not affect the 3 to 4 wheel sensors all reading the same thing.
