You don't need a code reader, you have a '93

Do you like tearing into your engine often? If not do not skimp on the Opti. GM original parts only. If you cant afford it now save for an extra few weeks and do it the right way. It will fail again, trust me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-Pe...#ht_500wt_1182

BLah blah blah.... oem parts are turds too its a gamble anymore where delco is even made and what parts are inside...buy a cardone select from advanced for $200 with lifetime hassle free warranty or buy a chandler for $100 with a small warranty .
i have a cardone select that been trouble free for a year now as a daily driver..and i could take it out and get a brand new one same day no questions if i wanted to

Actually Delcos\GMP are still the golden ticket. Delphi is the one where things have changed recently. Cardone orders from our factory, though I don't know what parts or even if they are optispark parts. Only that I assume they are using at least the same casing if not the same unit completely as us.

But legally I can't say, even if I did know, I don't. But being able to take it back same day helps, something that mail order will never be able to do.

Thanks for the plug though

Blown out 2 GM opti's last of which only lasted a few thousand miles! Why spend the money? Just went with Chandler Motorsports. Works good. No issues. Cheap. Quick Shipment. Good Cust. Service!
