Good Bye LT1....
Well I wanted to take a second and thank a lot of you guys that have helped me a ton along the way with my car!
After I come to the conclusion that my LT1 hated me I decided to go in a new direction as most of you all know...
I have pretty much sold ALL of mt LT1 stuff that was on the car and have already bought all the parts for my new build... Hoping to make some good numbers....
LQ9 Motor with 70k from a 2003 Escalade
LS3 Heads brand New from Pace racing
EPS Custom Cam 23x/24x 6xx/6xx
Hooker 1 7/8 Long tube headers
Fast 102mm LsXR intake
Nick Wilson 90mm throttle body
Also bought LS1 tubular K member
Tubular Lower control arms
Spohn Drag bar
I will be running my same Trans and rear end as before....Prob have the converter tightened up as with more power it will prob be even looser than it is now....
I will still be in here hanging out and all but just going to the darkside
Thanks again!!
Matt

Congrats on the new direction!
I too have an LQ9 that I will build for my Z28 at some point, and I'm looking forward to the better architecture, and better heads available for it. My LT1 is running well now and should get me through at least another year or so, which will allow me to save my lunch money for that endeavor.
Good luck - keep us posted on your results.

Thanks!
Thanks Will do! I was very surprised to see how much power these motors make with a set of heads and a custom ground cam..
LOL yea need to swing out here and check it out or we can all get together for a cruise in some time...
I am hoping I won't be down very long...I have already ordered about 85% of my parts....

I'm using a full manual valve body Th350 so all I need is a flex plate and crank spacer... I am looking to put down 450+ through a very un dyno friendly setup and run 10s on motor... After talking to Geoff at EPS it should meet my goals. Yea the LS3s flow over 300 cfm and got them brand new for 700 shipped
