Got the Cam... Now I got some questions...
I picked up a Hotcam today, came with Lt4 springs, Locks, and retainers...
Is there anyway to tell if they are LT4 springs, they came in a Ziploc bag, not a GM box, LOL..
Also, How long do you think it will take to do this cam swap on Jack Stands?

have the springs checked for pressure at installed height and at cam lift. Any respectable engine/machine shop should be able to do it pretty cheap. I wish i could tell you a way to just look at them and see if they would work, but when you buy used parts its always safer to assume the worst and make sure they will work before you just throw them in.

the lt4 springs had a green paint stripe. i wouldnt go just by the stripe though if your not sure. other then that there is no way to tell without testing it like said above.
Time depends on your mechanical ability or if you know what your doing. And if everything goes smoothly. It can be done in a weekend.

I probably will, how much do you think I could get for LT4 valve springs?

I figure since its such a small cam, I could just keep the stock lifters, get the valves springs checked at a machine shop, get 1.6rr, and use the stock pushrods, its a pretty small cam, and i'm on a pretty small budget, so I feel like it all works out.

Stock lifters are just fine with a LOT more cam than this. People just blindly recommend replacing them because the cost of replacing them came down a few years ago.
The LT4 springs are marginal for the HOT cam on LT1 heads, not going to break or anything like that but after some miles(your's are unknown) they can get a little soft and allow some valve float which would be a loss of high rpm power.
A HUGE number of folks run them just like you want to without any trouble.
