Default 6LE Stainless ORY-pipe install issues

I ordered a new y pipe off of 6LE to replace my 8 exhaust clamped, leaky rig job of a y pipe configuration I had going on under there. I get the old setup off (all kinds of exhaust pieces) and the new y-pipe doesnt seem to be lining up right. The drivers side goes on fine, but it seems like when I connect the pass. side it doesnt want to meet up with the Ypipe just right. Could my headers be crooked? Or is this a common issue?(People with his ypipes)

Im going to school for Automotive and I ran out of time at the end of the day, and had to drive it home open headers...which i didnt mind one bit

do you know if that Y-pipe was suppose to work with the brand of headers you have???

You may need an exhaust shop to modify it a little bit.

how old are the motor mounts? i replaced my old crusty motor mounts with new ones and that helped everything line up better. when i had my magnaflow catback installed the shop had to cut a couple inches off the backside of the y pipe to get it perfect.

That's how my Pacesetter y-pipe fit on the Pacesetter headers. It was a royal pain for me to line up.

my pacesetter y-pipe went right on with no issues, charlie if you have to heat the y-pipe up where it needs to be bent all the way around the pipe then move it where you need it with some persuasion.

Not sure how old the motor mounts are, wouldnt be surprised if their the originals because sometimes you can feel the engine while sitting in the car. I will probably heat it with the torch and bend it little by little...can anything be easy with these cars?
