Car wont shift
So i got myself a 94Z, according to the previous owner it had a 2800 stall. Which i am pretty sure it did have a stall just not sure if it was a 2800 because the transmission would go into limp mode if a gave it a little to much gas and wouldn't shift for a while until after i got a tune emailed to me. Now my new problem is the car won shift at WOT. Ive adjusted the shift cable and gave the trans more line pressure but still cant get it to shift. Now i am starting to think if it didn't have a 2800 stall but maybe something else would there be anyway for me to figure it out and would that keep it from shifting.

The 700r4 shift linkage can be a bit tricky to adjust, and 2800 stall or not thiis would not cause a no shift problem. You also said you boosted line pressure? to what? does it have a shift kit or any mods done to the trans? Does the car have aftermarket gears?

Boosting line pressure can be dangerous and cause the tranny to blow up if not set correctly. Also the rear gears may have something to do with why the car wont shift at WOT. Is it bounsing off the limiter a few times then shifting or not shifting at all?

If the car isn't tuned for the stall you are hitting stall wall.
You need to raise your rev limiter. Do you know if it is stock or raised already? Stock is 5800 I believe.

Get a chiltons or a shop manual. Search online there are write ups every where. Here this is how to set up the tps but it tells you what voltages you should see and how to test it. http://www.golenengineservice.com/do.../Adj%20TPS.pdf
