you or a lock smith can ohm the key, get a resistor that same value and slice it into the system. This will enable you to run a non chip key in your car and will do away with this issue in the future.

50 htz box into the pcm(its a blue wire) and ground out the ignition relay(its up under the dash behind the glove compartment.

shbox has a write up on bypassing the VATS system.
the resistor trick is a waste of time. Do it once, do it right.

Is there any type of video or pics I can view to see that setup? That's pretty much the only way I seen on how 2 bypass that security / car not starting issue..

Resistor does the same thing as the "chip" (which is just a pellet with a known resistance), and costs literally cents to do.

Worked flawlessly on my car years ago and has not given me a problem since. Hardly a waste of time it it works, was free, and was easy to do.

This website will help you:
http://www.shbox.com/1/pass_key.html

This is the bypass box that goes into the PCM:

Try the resistor mod trick first since it is easy and cheap but this is a true "bypass".

You could also send your PCM into madtuner or pcmforless and have them turn VATS off.

I have been using the 50htz box for a complete year, my car has started every single time.

It works the same except if the BCM is the problem like my case. I took the BCM out of the equation with my car by bypassing it completely.

The 50 hz signal bypass is only half of the VATS. The most common problem is the key pellet. You have to bypass both to truly bypass the whole system.
