Default can you use band clamp for Pacesetter LTs and ORY

just wondering if these band clamps can be used with pacesetter LTs and ORY without any exhaust leaks? it says its designed to be used for butt joint instead of fitting one pipe inside another.

just wondering if you can use them without leaks?

You want a lap joint clamp (vs. a butt joint)... about the same price.

Yep the lap joint band clamps hold the position better as well.

I use band clamps on my pacesetters with my custom dual setup. They leak a lil jus because the true duals dont fit 100% right. But nothing noticable unless its on a lift and u got ur hand up to it looking for it

kinda a stupid question but once you clamp them down good, can you take them on and off more than once? or is it one shot and they are no good anymore?

On and off as you please, do not overtighten them though, they will break.

That answer is misleading...usually you can get a couple uses out of them...everytime you take them off and put them back on you stretch the band clamp a little more and it will lose its ability to seal properly (all it is is thin sheet metal and its VERY ductile)...I know I can usually get about 4 times of taking them off and on before I start to notice leaks. I plan on switching to v bands soon
