Default stall and gear gain

just swapped out 273,s for 342,s and stock convertor for performabuilt 3400 along with a level2 tranny , best before in the 1/8th mile in this car was 8.2 @89 mph , 2.0 60ft any guesses what it will gain in the 1/8th ??

At least .2, possibly as much as .3, pending you hook up. It will be solely reliant on the tire.

its got mt,s and lca relocation brackets , dont know how much these brackets help though.

I guess it depends on the mods. Back when my car was a 355 hotcam setup I went from running a b&m 2500 stall to a circle d 3600 I gain .4 tenths overall, and I already had 3.73 gears.

Remember he's talking about 1/8th mile, not full 1/4.

That was 1/8th mile Joe. I went from 8.30s to 7.70's. Granted I only gained 3.5 tenths right aways (with a tire that would hold) and the rest was tuning how the car left the line. All the dates I can were within 700DA of eachother.

The converter was such a help because the BM could only produce a 1.8 high 1.7 60ft. the Circle D ran 1.60-1.65 all day.

this is also a hotcammed car for now ,355 , hotcam , 1.7 rr,s . soon getting a 230/236 .

I ran into stall wall. I sent my pcm to pcm4less and he fixed. You should b able pull som 1.6 60fts with that stall. I running same as you but i got 3800 stall

hoping I dont hit the stall wall with the 3400 , I have a handheld I can mess around withe shift points and rev limiter some .
