Default bleed valve (96-97 only)

whats this and where the hell do the lines go from the "bleed valve"???
clearly a bleed valve but whats it for? can i bypass it? how do i by pass it if so?

follow the picture to the left of it!!!! It shows you where it goes

one goes to the air pump and the other goes to the air tube from the manifold?

It shows it going to the front driver side of the engine. right by #1 cylinder.


(there is a line that goes to the middle picture where that piece is)

the thing that is throwing me off is it shows two plugs on the bleed valve and only one hose coming out.
