Exclamation Anti-Freeze Leak ... Dripping off Oil Filter?

Alright I'm officially stumped on this one. I've been at it looking at pretty much everything that I can putting mirrors every which way to find out where this leak is coming from. Its literally dripping right off of the Oil Filter. It doesn't matter whether the car is started or not it will drip. I got all my hoses hooked up. I've checked steam vents or whatever there called on the back of the heads. I've looked at my oil seeing if there was any evidence of a blown head gasket. I started thinking that maybe there is a freeze plug that has possibly popped. I'm not sure anymore so I'm looking for some possible ideas. I seem to remember there being 2 freeze plugs inside the bellhousing and I'm pretty much singled out to that. If you have any other ideas before I go through the whole pain of dropping the tranny feel free.

Thanks Matt

If your engine is dirty, clean it up. Degrease it or whatever you have to do. Rent a coolant pressure tester from Autozone. Jack the car up, pressure the coolant system at a max of 18psi, get under car with a bright light and wait to see if you can see it streaming from anywhere. Far easier to do this when the engine is cold.

coolant crossover tubes and oil cooler lines are the closest so I'd check those. pressure tester will be your best bet though to truely narrow it down.

If you have the factory oil cooler yet, it runs coolant through the oil filter housing and the lines that go to it could be leaking. Just get rid of that worthless thing if you have it. They cause more trouble then they're worth.

I agree check the oil cooler lines. I believe theres a dye that autozone sells that you can pour in the coolant and it will aid in finding the leak.
