Default What is the best Valve Spring Compressor for a rookie?

What type of valve spring compressor do you think is the easiest to not screew anything up with my rookie *** using it? Need to check these seats and clean all this freakin caked on oil up.

Crane dual spring compressor. One you have used it, everything else is ****.

If you knew the back story to this whole deal you would say NO SHOP!! lol J/k I have some old 305 heads and some spare LT1 heads I am gona play around on first but Gota start somewhere since my luck with shops is **** right now. Yeah that sucks when you get burned at a shop and don't want to try more; in fear of getting burned again. I luckily don't have that problem! but I do have only a few choices if something did happen.

Use a cut off wheel and cut it down some and its just like tims,larry who evers tool. And its only 9 bucks. i used this on and off the car many many times.
