Question Chandler Opti

do you guys know if there is a difference in two of their optis? theres a CMS brand one for $90 and a topshelf one for $135. the first has 1 year warranty and the other lifetime. Do you guys know if theres a real difference in them other than the warranty?

Some people have had good luck and others have had bad luck.

Remember, if its 1/4 of the price of a delco, you may get 1/4 of it quality.

Id get a Chandler if my car died.

No issues here with my Formula. Buddy of mine is running one on his Impala SS and it works.

Only difference is the warranty

Either way thanks for the recommendations guys. I haven't been on the forums for about 2 weeks because I've been swamped with a lot of projects and spring is arriving! Its car part season! Lots of people trying to get LT1s back on the road!

Also I do want to say I don't think "pay 1/4 of the price and you might get 1/4 of the quality" is fair. You have to remember Delco is a multi multi million (billion?) dollar company. They have huge overheads and have to charge accordingly, they can also get away with it because they are... AC Delco. I have had several conversations with people that have changed 4 or 5 optis and I'm starting to get the feeling the new GM units, made within the last year or two, that the quality has slipped tremendously. I talked to someone today that has replaced 4 or 5 optis and had 2 of those be GM units. Being a 94, that meant he dumped $1000 into optisparks from GM.

I am confident that in the near future we can meet meet GM's quality level, and I would say our service has always exceeded any online Delco dealer I am aware of.
