Default Siemans 60# Injectors on 383 Stroker

I have a naturally aspirated 383 LT1 making 500+hp at the crank. I've acquired some Siemans Deka Injectors #107961. They are 60lbs/hr EV1 High Impedance Injectors. Will these be able to be toned down and not have any adverse effects on the drive-ability of my car?

from what i remember when i did all of my research on injectors. a large high impedance injector is not able to close fast and has issues with idle. i saw a little info on these out there. they state that these don't have those issues. you can easily change the injector offset in the ecm but i would find someone that is running them and see how they act on the factory ecm.

just remember they are trying to sell them. so i would still try to find someone running them.

I installed and tuned a set in a stock cam 05 GTO. Purred like a kitten at 550 RPM. No issues. Not sure if injector drivers on the LT1 computer are comparable in accuracy or not but I doubt you will have any trouble.

I would not recommend an injector that large with the power you are making, but since you have them...I would use them.

As for being able to tune an LT1, I have 93 lbs on mine and it idles fine at 700 RPM, the difference is I tune my own. If I tried a mail order tune I'm sure they wouldn't put the time in to make them work.

Well who is running them on a non-boosted LT1?

I think lll try them since I already have them.

I was planning to get a PCMforless tune then drive somewhere to get dyno tuned. But maybe it'd be cheaper and smarter to trailer it somewhere to skip the mail order tune. Its going in my 79 Cutlass.

You should have no issues running them on a 383.
