We really need to know your goals for the car/motor to give you the advise you are asking for.

quality machine work and good tuning will put you farther ahead than great parts lacking somewhere else... just something to think about.

355. Just something to put some boost on and feel safe about it. Safe at high rpm. Pretty much just building a sick bullet proof street car.

Callies / Compstar Crank and Rods. CP, Wiseco, Diamond, Ross, or Probe pistons would be my piston choice. (I went with CP)

Just stay away from the cheap junk please.

Scat crank, h-beam rods, and Mahle forged pistons. I got the crank/rods from Sallee Chevrolet, and the pistons from Flatlander Racing.

I would look into the howards track smart cranks,4340 usa made. There are some on race junk for a great price. CP bullet pistons are a good choice for the money also. The selection to choose from should fit most anyones needs and they will take a whole lot of abuse.

if you're planning on going with a forged crank, no reason to stay with a 3.48" stroke.

how much boost are you looking to make and also how much rpm you planning to spin? huge h-beam rods, big money cranks, and custom billy bad *** pistons might be unneccessary costs. most failures of rotating assemblies I've seen are due to machine work, assembly, or detonation much more often than quality of parts.
