Default shitty day at the dyno. need some help!

took my car for a dyno tune and in the 2nd pull we where having fuel issues. wot it has about 40 psi. he said he has so much fuel going to it at shouldnt even run. where are seeing about 13- 15 air/fuel and its leaning out. its got stock pump and injectors. the next issue is that once it hits 3rd gear it misses so bad and it leans out. im running delco platinums. could changing plugs help and the wires are new delco idk wat to do. we only saw 270rwhp!

Your first mistake was to take the car to the dyno with a miss in 3rd gear. It doesn't do you any good to take it to a dyno when it isn't running in perfect condition. You should track down the source of your misfire and get the car running PROPERLY before you strap it to the rollers. Next...

We need far more info on your car. Who ported the heads, what kind of exhaust, CAM SPECIFICS, who did the tuning, etc. Did your tuner monitor your injector duty cycle? You might be maxing your stockers out (a likely scenario), but once again we don't know anything about your engine/combo. Was this a dyno tuning SESSION or just a 3-pulls-for-$50 thing?

There's nothing wrong with your fuel pressure BTW. 40psi at WOT is fine.

well for one we figured the miss was from timing or fuel related tune issue. the motor is a 355, cam is a cc 210/220, 510,520 i believe. stock rockers and upgraded springs. heads are stock pp by a local who seemed to do a good job. im not sure if he monitored the duty cycle or not. and this was a dyno tune.

we have checked plugs and wires numerous times and replaced opti twice. it almost seems as if under a load it looses spark

Where were you monitoring the AFR's from? The header or the tail pipe? Verified that the gauge worked properly?

Next thing would be duty cycle, like RamAir said.

FIRST OFF why are you running a platinum tipped plug?!

that's a small cam and your stock fuel system should be able to keep up.

any idea on you static compression ratio? depending on compression a platnium spark plug with a large gap could be too hot IMO.

Get rid of those junk *** platinum plugs man, those things are turds, run some autolight 104s or NGK 55s, i had platinums in a s10 once brand new and they missed so ******* bad, changed them to ac D rapid fires and no problems
