Cant decide on valve covers, help me.

Default Cant decide on valve covers, help me.

I tried searching, and I still cant decide. I have crane nsa 1.6 rrs and I dont want to clearance the stock covers. So what is everyone buying these days? I found a lot of people running the proforms using the search function. But I have a Trans am and its a no go on the chevrolet covers. lol

Alot I know running those, look like homemade valve cover. They sold on ebay.

get a set of ELDO signature series with out the signature, just ribs,
i personally like and own those, and you can get them in "tall sizes" LOL

if you look close you will see the adapters from CBC to the classic covers, personally, I hate CBC covers, and these have been on my last 4 builds, I like them alot

yeah, those look really good. Im running the fi connections 24x kit, so i have to mount the coils to the covers. Its looking like I might end up running the edelbrock elite covers or the composite covers.

thanks dude, it is actually my sons, 92 rs 225K and still going strong, cant find a better picture at the moment. yours an 82, 83???? where did you find the nose??? looks real good for the age.

Its 87 camaro z28, with 6.6L 402 swap T350. I bought the car like that, so I dont know where he get it from ^^. It will be for sale soon lol, I need space for other car, mabe a trans am ls1

Carbon fiber! Fits stock alternator, no bracing inside. can clear any rocker that doesn't require extra valve cover height.

I ran edelbrock elite covers and the were a pita. You have to cut out all the supports inside the covers becauses your rocker arms will hit them. But they did blend extremely well with the intake manifold.

Look on eBay for the polished aluminum LT1-specific covers. I've had two sets over the years. Great price, awesome fitment, and clear my Crane NSAs just fine.

Yeah I had a hard time getting valve covers that cleared my rockers. It makes the car sound like it has a knock.
