Oh dear. That's a lot of head for such a small cam. Ported stock castings would be all you really need. There is a thing as too much head (). Assuming you got the AFR LT4 heads the LT4 intake would make sense. But if you have the LT1-specific heads, the LT4 intake is an absolutely worthless modification. It is internally identical to the LT1 intake and WILL NOT bolt directly up to LT1 heads.

it is the lt4 specific heads . im putting these on for this yr or whenever my 383 is done . just wondering how they would be on my current setup seein as there stock heads now

i love my edge converter , i can leave a light at idle but flashes when i need it to . the customer service is great , good warranty etc etc . id deff use em again or sugest people to go there

Thats a hell of a lot of head for a little stock cube 503 car. I would honestly just save em until your 383 is ready. Why put miles and wear and tear on such a badass set of heads on a combo that doesn't need them?

Hey noticed everyone was saying to much head for you LoL.. I live in ohio and have a fresh set of stock heads p&p, decked and everything and could meet ya n throw ya some cash for a head swap =) figured it was worth a shot!

im sorry guys , they are the 210 series not the 225 . i bought them off of a good friend of mine sayin tyhe exh flowed 225 cfm at .500 lift and i got confused on the numbers he was sayin lol . i checked the casting numbers and they are the 210 competition series

its not a stock cube car , its a high comp 358 . my comp ratio is 13.2-1 and im sprayin . my heads are most deff holding me back cause on the dyno my curve drops like a stone at 5800 . ill have em on this weekend or early next week . and have the car on the dyno next weekend hopefully for a tune again seein as i did a gear change with a 9 in ill post numbers

That 503 cam should continue to pull to ~6200 on stock heads, so I'd wonder why yours falls flat so early. It's probably not the heads. Can you post up the dyno sheet?
And if you plan on keeping the 503 and your current displacement, I still think the AFRs are overkill. I agree with Puck - wait until you actually need them.

ill have to wait to get the numbers again as i dropped them off at at the machine shop that built my motor so he can set the valvesprings up for me seein as the ones that were on these were on a solid roller cam and obv way to stiff for the hydro 503 . when i get them back ill post them
