Oh dear. That's a lot of head for such a small cam. Ported stock castings would be all you really need. There is a thing as too much head (). Assuming you got the AFR LT4 heads the LT4 intake would make sense. But if you have the LT1-specific heads, the LT4 intake is an absolutely worthless modification. It is internally identical to the LT1 intake and WILL NOT bolt directly up to LT1 heads.

Off topic but what is your take on Edge converters???

Other then that that is A LOT of head for the CC503 I'd look into a cam swap also something custom to take advantage of the head you seem to have a bottom end that can take it!

Thats a hell of a lot of head for a little stock cube 503 car. I would honestly just save em until your 383 is ready. Why put miles and wear and tear on such a badass set of heads on a combo that doesn't need them?

its not a stock cube car , its a high comp 358 . my comp ratio is 13.2-1 and im sprayin . my heads are most deff holding me back cause on the dyno my curve drops like a stone at 5800 . ill have em on this weekend or early next week . and have the car on the dyno next weekend hopefully for a tune again seein as i did a gear change with a 9 in ill post numbers

Those 8 little cubes do not make a difference. For all intents and purposes it's still has the performance characteristics of a 350.

That 503 cam should continue to pull to ~6200 on stock heads, so I'd wonder why yours falls flat so early. It's probably not the heads. Can you post up the dyno sheet?

And if you plan on keeping the 503 and your current displacement, I still think the AFRs are overkill. I agree with Puck - wait until you actually need them.

210 COMPS are $$$$$$$$$$. Anything comp ported cost a nice chunk. That is the highest level offered. What is the part number on the heads?

ill have to wait to get the numbers again as i dropped them off at at the machine shop that built my motor so he can set the valvesprings up for me seein as the ones that were on these were on a solid roller cam and obv way to stiff for the hydro 503 . when i get them back ill post them

So your keeping the 503 with age 210s and a 383? Might I ask why? That is a waist of cubes and head. Cc503 is perfect for stock but not big headed 383.
