does anyone know what resistance stock 7mm wires should have?

I thought the stockers were 6.5mm?

I can't remember, but if you check a few wires against each other you should be able to see a pattern of how many ohms per foot they are.

800ohms on some stock replacements I had. MSD 8.5's are 50ohms a foot. So expect something more than the MSD's.

Knowing your situation, you should also QUADRUPLE check that the wires on the correct cylinder.
