lt1 vfn hood and ls1 lid

lt1 vfn hood and ls1 lid anyone have to clearance their sunoco at all to fit the ls1 lid?
I cleared fine with my 98+ setup VFN sunoco, but I'm going to run the lt1 front end again. I heard it may not be as clean fitting out of the box. Can't test it yet, motor is out of the car. If I have to cut the hood to clearance it, that's fine, just curious where and how much it needs. Since it's still in primer, i can glass it over later and have it look normal when I paint it.
