Default Holley TB Question

I recently picked up a "new" Holley TB ... The box looked pretty old, the bag with gaskets & bolts was opened, but it was never bolted on an engine. I put it on the other day and noticed that the throttle cable end wouldn't stay located properly in the linkage. It wanted to slip out. Seems like I'm missing a bushing or sleeve ... So, that is the question - Am I missing a part?

You can see what happens here...

So, I decided to make a bushing...
This is a 1/4" OD #10-32 aluminum RivNut, drilled 13/64" for the cable end & slotted with a Dremel cut-off wheel.

With the shoulder of the RivNut, it actually worked pretty good...

Other than it looking nice and shiny, I'm not overly impressed with Holley's design. If this TB doesn't normally come with a bushing or sleeve, then the 1/4" hole they drill is just too big - At least for my cable.

Nice job fixing something that shoulda never of needed to of been fixed from the get go. .250" is way to big for the cable tip. I never measured it but i know it isnt that big.
