Arrow Looking to lighten up the front end

Front bumper is coming off to get painted over the weekend. What items can be removed while the bumper is off to lighten up the front end of the car? How difficult to remove? Car is a 93 z28.

There are so many weight reduction threads out their for these cars. You can drop the bumper absorber, the support, the fog lights. If you dont need your horns you can get rid of all that crap to. It's really depends on how far you want to go with it, you can take the fenders off and cut that metal that's underneath as well. For the engine bay you could always relocate the battery, If you got the money the front suspension can all be changed out with some tubular parts, that would drop some weight.

If its mostly a track driven car, I know of some guys who yank out the front sway bar.

I wouldn't do it, because I drive mine too much on the street.

If you don't mind the heat, yanking the AC system out will save you a solid 50 lbs.

All a/c & heater components, egr, abs, air pump system, evap system, battery relocation, replace overflow tank with smaller unit, washer fluid reservoir, sway bar removal, tubular suspension components, crash bar behind bumper, for lights, frame horns, oil cooler, sheet metal behind fenders, billet non-abs wheel hubs, rework wiring harness, and I'm sure there is a few more but that's what I've done so far lol.
