Default Firebird LT1 SEVER PROBLEMS PLEASE HELP!!!!

so my 93 firebird is acting super weird and no one can figure out whats going on. when i put the car into drive it goes fine in 1st gear then sometimes 2nd gear will go good and other time it will start going up in rpms and then just drop and the whole car just bogs until i punch the gas, then it peps up and goes. if it doesnt do that in 2nd gear then it will forsure do it in 3rd and 4th. i have to shift manually because the car bogs so bad in drive. it shifts really early too. i have no idea whats going on and no one else does either. PLEASE help me. i also did a fuel pressure test and at idle my fuel pressure is 30 psi, i dont know if that is relavant or not but please help me!

yeah it sounds like a fluid level or line pressure issue to me. have you checked the fluid level and color?

check tranny filter and fluid. test tps with a voltmeter. both are cheap.

Could be TPS, but for 1 the fuel pressure is to low, should be 42-47 psi
2 its got a 4l60 tranny with a TV cable and they can be tricky to adjust, maybe the clip popped off or something broke and someone who looked at it did not properly adjust it. May or may not be the issue.

i disagree with most all above,The fuel pressure does seem to be a little weak, not sure how you tested it... it is not uncommon to have 39 psi idle and 45 psi with reg disconnected haynes manual suggests its supposed to be 41-47 ...but for starters us 93's have to make sure our Tv cable is adjusted properly ...your trans is not computer controlled so the TPS will have nothing to do with its shifting ..start here
