Default PA Racing K Member. motor mounts?

My pa racing k member just came in about a week ago. This weekend i'm going to install the k member along with my longtubes. However from what I've seen from other k members it looks like it's missing the tubular part where the motor mounts connect to. Am I wrong? anyone running a pa racing k member?, and if so what motor mounts did you decide on?

Thinking about going with solid motor mounts if I could, and I've read the threads on the poly vs motor mount issue. I don't mind a little shake and i think i'll like it after the cam swap.

Mine isn't a PA it's a UMI but they look similar so here are some photos if you are interested.

There are a few other photos if you are interested in my photobucket albumn:

sorry the photos are so big. Is there any way to change the size that they appear here in the forums except for resizing them in photobucket before you post them?

The UMI setup only uses one pedestal while the PA uses both. No difference in function really, just different design.

How do you know this??

quote from madman email
"Our solid motor mounts will not work with that particular k-member. Looking at your picture you sent with the e-mail, it looks like there isn't a place to mount the driver's side motor mount."

someone had to say it i guess.

Any more thoughts on this k member and what mounts to use? stock pedestals with poly mounts seem to be the way to go.

bump for more advice.

I'm so torn about using madman solid motor mounts. Common sense would tell me that because his solid motor mounts work with a stock k member, and because the pa k member uses the stock pedestals...then both of them should fit together. Am I missing something here?
I've heard madman tell some people it works but then he tells me that it doesn't. Why isn't just a definite answer?

Jason from pa racing said that these solid's should work so I'm going to try them out. Anyone else running this set up? poly tranny mount recommended with the solid motor mount correct?
