Sounds like it could be alot of things. Pump, steering rack, balljoints, bushings. Gotta crawl under her and see what you find

actually when i think about it a bad ps pump is more of a squealing than a creak and groan. i guess that would be more of a balljoint or bearing issue

If your pump is full, doesn't leak, and does not act weird while you turn at low speeds like jerking or slipping then the pump is probably fine.

How many miles are on the car? Have you replaced or modified any suspension components?

I would start with lubricating the suspension grease points first. If that doesnt solve the problem then you could have a bad joint or bushing. You could also have a bad strut/shock absorber or spring that creaks and groans when it compresses and decompresses.

The previous owner of my car basicly let it rot. It creaked and groaned when i would turn into parking spots as well. When i finally had the cash to buy new tires, shocks, and springs, the suspension creaks went away. Atleast the really loud ones that made people do a double take at you while driving by..lol.

But I would start small and easy, hit up those suspension grease points first.

Lol yeah, as the raining season recently stopped the creaks and groans got louder, soo i know something has dried up and caused the noise to get louder... thanks for all of the input i'll probably start by going with the cheapest parts first then work my way up until i eventually the whole front end is replaced with new parts lol
